Best Friends

Remember your best friend from school? What was it that made him or her your “best friend?” It might have been how the person made you feel when you spent time together.  Or maybe they were always ready with an enthusiastic “Yes!” to whatever activity you suggested.

List the traits you loved about your best friend (e.g., humorous, supportive, loyal, always looking out for you, empathetic, compassionate, etc.).

Now, become your own best friend! Say “yes” to as many ideas as possible. Really take your higher self’s wisdom to heart.  Be conscious of all the ways in which you make an effort to do right by others.  And most importantly, be willing to forgive yourself when you stumble. Take these “tumbles” with a grain of salt, and share a good laugh about it with your new best friend!
